UNLV’s fall semester kicks off Aug. 26, and a new crop of Rebels is ready to make it happen. The university expects to welcome more than 32,000 students – its largest-ever fall enrollment – when classes resume.
And that’s not all that’s new. As UNLV students embark on another academic year, they’ll encounter everything from upgraded security enhancements aimed at ramping up campus safety to new program offerings geared toward expanding their access to successful careers beyond college.
Read on for just a few Fall 2024 UNLV highlights:

- Nearly 200 newly admitted student veterans and military family members will join UNLV this fall, becoming part of a community of more than 1,850.

Security Enhancements

Campus Living
- Ahead of Rebel Ready Week orientation activities, more than 1,750 students moved into UNLV’s residence halls for the Fall 2024 semester. And hundreds more have moved into the U District, marking the university’s largest resident student population since before the pandemic.
Milestone Anniversary
- The UNLV School of Public Health marks its 20th anniversary in 2024, with a number of events and activities planned throughout the fall semester. The school was established in 2004 to improve the health and well-being of people in Southern Nevada and worldwide.
