Does Scar have a crush on Sarabi?
"Take your place by my side or you can eat after the hyenas," Scar says. "And they don't leave much behind." Unsurprisingly, she refuses. If you were shocked to learn Scar had romantic feelings for Sarabi, it was hinted at near the film's start.
In his youth, Scar fell in love with Sarabi, but she chose to become mates with Mufasa instead. This incident, coupled with Scar's jealousy of Mufasa's position as the king of Pride Rock, embittered Scar and caused him to challenge Mufasa for the throne.
Battle for Pride Rock
However, Scar refused to leave his kingdom and proclaimed that, as the king, he could do whatever he wanted. Disgusted and enraged, Sarabi started to disfavorably compare Scar to Mufasa, which incited him into striking her across the face.
Director Darrell Rooney stated that Zira was originally conceived as Scar's mate and queen. However, their relationship was purposely obscured in the middle of production to make her "just a follower" due to the incestuous undertones Kovu's romance with Kiara would have had.
When Zazu does (notably mentioning "respect of your species, a loving family, a devoted queen"), Scar is struck by the last suggestion (a queen), and tries to seduce Nala into becoming his queen with this song, in spite of Nala's attempts to explain to him how the Pride Lands are going to rot because of his incompetent ...
If you were shocked to learn Scar had romantic feelings for Sarabi, it was hinted at near the film's start. If you know the original movie well, you may have noticed there was a new line added when Mufasa and Zazu ask Scar why he wasn't at the ceremony for Simba.
Sarabi is later seen during the film's climax, where Scar wants Sarabi to be his queen again, but Sarabi rejects his offer once again and tells him he's nothing compared to Mufasa, causing Scar to attack her.
It was because Scar couldn't comprehend that Simba was a better person than him and a bunch better ruler than he could ever hope to be. He can't understand that Simba was trying to give him a chance to escape.
However, unbeknownst to Simba, Scar actually harbored hatred for him and never seemed to be even remotely interested in his stories, due to jealousy of his nephew's status as next in line for the throne.
He hated that their father (Ahadi) chose Mufasa to be his successor, so Taka (as Scar was known then), plotted first to make Mufasa look like an idiot/not fit to rule, and later (when Simba was born, pushing Scar down the line of succession), plotted to kill Mufasa.
Why is Zira obsessed with Scar?
Scar. After Scar took over the Pride Lands and became king, Zira became his most loyal follower, honoring him to the point of fanaticism and the worship of his very name. Her loyalty to Scar was so great that she still considered him her king even in death.
the finalized version with Zira refusing Kiara's help and. committing suicide by deliberately throwing herself into.
While Mufasa is aware that his brother doesn't like him, he still cares and looks after him. Scar harbored some jealousy towards his brother, but he at least still had a begrudging respect for Mufasa and carried out his responsibility as leader of the Lion Guard.
His father Mufasa is training Simba to become king of the pride lands. However, we learn that Mufasa's brother Scar is jealous of Mufasa and Simba's right to the throne. He plots with a large pack of hyaenas to overthrow Mufasa and scare Simba away.
Scar was jealous of Mufasa, and wanted to be king himself. However, with Simba next in line for the throne, Scar would need to eliminate him in order to ensure his own succession. But first, Scar would need to kill Mufasa, which he did by throwing him from the side of a cliff into a stampede of wildebeests.
Scar's jealousy of Mufasa in "The Lion King" is rooted in his desire for power and the throne. Scar feels overshadowed by Mufasa and is envious of his brother's position as king and the respect he commands from the other animals.
He became upset when he learned his older brother Mufasa was chosen to be king over himself. Taka would come to meet three hyenas named Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed, who tell him that if Mufasa is made to look like a failure, then he'll look kingly in comparison and take the throne soon enough.
Though the venom in his scar may have influenced his evil nature, Scar was already proven to be envious and power-hungry before being infected as he was willing to work with another lion to overthrow Mufasa as king due to his jealousy.

Why is Sarabi not in Lion Guard?
Sarabi did not appear in any sequels due to the death of her voice actress, Madge Sinclair. This tradition was upheld in The Lion Guard until The Lion King (2019).
Simba's mother, Sarabi, remained head of the lionesses in the pride even after Mufasa was killed and Simba was driven away. It is unclear how long she lived after Simba's return, as her voice actress, Madge Sinclair, died not long after the release of The Lion King and she has no lines in the sequels.
However, the actual moment of his death is not explicitly shown on screen. In the 2019 live-action adaptation, Scar's fate is left more open-ended. Yes. It is strongly implied that the Hyenas ate Scar.
Its history: Scar's real name is Taka, a Swahili word meaning 'dirt' or 'rubbish'. From the book 'The Lion King: Six New Adventures' and Askari which means 'police' according to The Lion King Guard. In the book, Taka leads a plan to undermine his brother in the eyes of their father and win the throne.
