A dozen wheel chairs, costing $80 each, have been donated to Nashville General Hospital by the Davidson County Chapter of the Tennessee Society for Crippled Children. Miss Marie Warren, supervisor on the pediatrics ward, is shown April 12, 1946 with three youngsters in two of the wheel chairs. Six of the chairs are for adult patients and six for children. The chairs permit the hospital to take the patients out in the sunshine and facilitate movement of the patients inside the hospital.

Grand Ole Opry vet Cousin Jody, born John C. Summey 60 years ago in Possum Hollow, Tenn., rest in his bed at Nashville General Hospital April 30, 1973. Cousin Jody said that they are running some tests on him because of a kidney infection and a growth on one of his kidneys. He hasn't been able to perform since he became sick three years ago. Since then, he has been in and out of hospitals three to five times a year.
